- We encourage our employees to take responsibility for the safety of their co-workers in addition to themselves.
- We promote a health and safety culture of awareness and openness in which people have the confidence to identify and report near misses and incidents, to challenge unsafe practices and conditions, whether or not they result in harm and to suggest changes and improvements. We have introduced a ‘Be Alert’ safety card reporting system. Staff is kept informed on progress of all issues raised via our intranet. Thorough reports, prepared by our HSQE Department, are discussed and acted upon at our monthly management meetings.
- We continually review our Health & Safety management systems and policies to ensure legal compliance, continuous improvement, and industry best practice.
- We ensure that all our employees at all level are fully trained and competent for their roles and responsibility.
"We believe that the continual improvements in our health and safety performance over the years can be attributed to enhanced safety awareness in all of our operations, continuous improvement of our safety management systems, and a high degree of co-operation with our clients and suppliers in meeting health and safety goals."
Mark Robinson, Operations Manager
